The Idaho Fraud Awareness Coalition has a threefold objective:
- Educate the public about the cost of fraud
- Raise awareness about the consequences and impact of fraud on society
- Educate Idahoans about how to recognize and report fraud to the appropriate authorities
Target Audience:
General public – statewide
Events:
The Idaho Fraud Awareness Coalition has two major events during the year. First, a scholarship is offered to Idaho high school seniors. Second, the Coalition sponsors Idaho Fraud Awareness week the first full week of May. During this week events and seminars are held throughout the state to educate Idahoans about the cost, consequences and impact of fraud. Presentation of the scholarship awards coincides with Fraud Awareness Week. Throughout the year Coalition members do outreach to civic, community, business and church groups by invitation.
To achieve these objectives, we need your support. The following material outlines the critical need for fraud awareness among Idahoans and provides a list of sponsorship opportunities and the necessary sponsor contributions associated with each.
